Ivana De Domenico is a molecular biologist who is currently serving as an Assistant Professor, in the Division of Hematology & Hematologic Malignancies, within the the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. An Italian Native, Dr. De Domenico graduated from Italy's University of Messina with honors, and continued studying there to earn her Ph.D. Her Post Doctoral training came at the University of Utah's department of Pathology, under professor Jerry Kaplan. She has an extensive C.V., having authored over 30 publications, contributing to numerous research projects, and invitations to over a dozen talks. While molecular biology is her passion, outside of the academy, Ivana De Domenico enjoys traveling and opera.
